Draft Manual on Invoice Management System on GST portal
The Goods and Services Tax (GST) portal has launched the Invoice Management System (IMS), streamlining invoice reconciliation for recipient taxpayers. The IMS allows taxpayers to easily accept, reject, or mark invoices as pending, facilitating efficient management of Input Tax Credit (ITC). The system, available from October 14, offers enhanced convenience in matching supplier-issued invoices with taxpayer records, reducing errors and improving GST compliance.
