Discover how Layne’s Chicken Fingers is expanding to San Marcos with second-generation entrepreneur Noah Kara, bringing Texas-sized flavor and family-focused values.
SAN MARCOS, TX — Layne’s Chicken Fingers, the fan-favorite chicken franchise founded in College Station and based in Dallas-Fort Worth, is coming to San Marcos, Texas. Opening in February at 1617 Aquarena Springs Drive, the new location will give area residents a chance to find out what has made Layne’s an iconic name in Texas. (Hint: chicken fingers don’t get much crispier than these.)
Noah Kara, a Houston native and second-generation entrepreneur, is opening the San Marcos location as part of a multi-unit deal he signed with Layne’s Chicken Fingers. After working in the corporate world and learning from mentors in the franchising space, Kara saw an opportunity with Layne’s that aligned with his passion for food service and vision for building a legacy business. He was particularly drawn to Layne’s family-oriented culture and saw potential in expanding the brand in this market.
