PM Modi Honored With Highest Awards From Guyana

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will receive Guyana’s highest national accolade, the ‘Order of Excellence,’ while Barbados will bestow the renowned Honorary Order of Freedom of Barbados on him.

This comes only days after Dominica announced that PM Modi will receive its top accolade, the ‘Dominica accolade of Honour’.

PM Modi Receives International Honours

With these two additions, the Prime Minister’s total number of overseas awards now stands at 19.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi will receive Guyana’s highest national accolade, the “Order of Excellence.” Barbados will bestow the renowned Honorary Order of Freedom of Barbados on PM Modi, authorities said.

On Sunday, during the first leg of his three-nation tour, Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu bestowed upon PM Modi Nigeria’s second highest national accolade, ‘The Grand Commander of The Order of the Niger’.

He thanked the Nigerian government for the distinction and stated, “This honour will continue to inspire us to take the India-Nigeria strategic partnership to new heights.”
